When I first came to Superior I was experiencing sciatic nerve pain which ran all the way down my leg, in addition to severe pain across my entire lower back. After seeing my doctor I was diagnosed with sciatic nerve pain, a bulging disc, scoliosis, stenosis and nodes on my spinal cord. I could not move my hop to my right side without severe pain and I could not sleep for more than two hours at a time. I was close to giving up
any idea of returning to my previously active lifestyle of dancing, daily aerobic dance exercising, walking three to five miles per day and doing extensive travelling. I had been dealing with this pain for well over a year and had already been though many therapy
sessions at two other local physical therapy clinics. I ended up attending a free back seminar at Superior Physical Therapy, and it made me know there was hope for me. I learned so much from attending that, that I made an appointment that same day to
begin therapy with Nick Hawkins and Brooke Meinema. Within just three sessions, Nick had identified and released the trigger point causing my sciatic pain. The result relieved me of so much pain that I cried tears of joy! Within another session I was able to once
again move my hips. The hands on technique made sure they were targeting the correct muscles and helped me make tremendous strides in my progress. Thank you, Superior
Physical Therapy for giving me my life back, thank you for providing patients the information and tools they need about their pain source and for peeling back the layers to get at the root of the source of the pain (which is not always what you come in with).
You have given me hope for a pain free future by believing in me !
